Refund & Return Policy

3.1 Our Commitment

At Family Plate, your satisfaction is our priority. Because we deliver fresh, non-frozen meals prepared daily, our refund policy is designed to be fair while accounting for the perishable nature of our products.

3.2 Quality Issues

If you receive a meal that is damaged, spoiled, incorrect, or does not meet our quality standards, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery at support@familyplate.com with a photo of the affected item and a description of the issue. Upon verification, we will issue a credit to your account for the affected meal(s) or provide a replacement in your next delivery, at your preference.

3.3 Subscription Cancellations

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellations made before the weekly cutoff (displayed in your account) will prevent charges for the following week. Cancellations made after the cutoff will take effect the week after. No partial refunds will be issued for the current billing cycle once meals have been prepared for delivery.

3.4 Skipping & Pausing

You may skip individual delivery days or pause your subscription at any time before the applicable cutoff. No charges are incurred for skipped or paused weeks. Cutoff times are clearly displayed in your account dashboard.

3.5 Missing Deliveries

If your delivery does not arrive, please contact us within 24 hours at support@familyplate.com. We will investigate and, if the issue is confirmed, issue a full credit or arrange a replacement delivery at no additional cost.

3.6 Container Deposit Refunds

Your $20.00 container deposit is fully refundable upon return of all containers in acceptable condition. Please see the Container Deposit Agreement (Section 5) for complete details on the return process and refund timeline.

3.7 Promotional Credits

Promotional credits, discounts, and referral bonuses have no cash value and cannot be redeemed for cash refunds. Promotional credits expire as specified in the applicable promotion terms.

3.8 How Refunds Are Processed

Refunds are processed to your original payment method within 5-10 business days. Account credits are applied immediately and may be used toward future orders.
